Made from Ottoman stone, all rooms are hand built, including handmade wooden ceilings. The à la carte restaurant serves traditional Albanian specialities. There is a bus station just 50 m from the Kotoni, while the Gjirokastër Obelisk and Mosque are within easy walking distance. The famous Gjirokastër Fortress and the Ethnographic Museum are 200 m away. The old Bazaar is at a distance of 300 m from the Kotoni B&B. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.7 for a two-person trip.
